A Site to Behold

On Highway 78 in Stone Mountain, there’s a billboard with a pair of binoculars, and a caption that reads, “Home buyers in site.” My wife thinks the incorrect usage of the word site (and not sight) was an intentional play on words. The billboard is advertising a real estate website afterall.  Something tells me these advertisers are quite that clever, and the incorrect usage comes from either to frequently referring to web sites or an over-reliance on spell checking software.

never underestimate the stupidity of the general public. that’s my motto. i say – they got lucky.
