Color Acuity Test

Posted on October 6, 2008October 6, 2008 by marcus

People often ask me why I don’t shoot my black and white shots. The answer I usually give is that color is such a powerful element in photos both emotionally and symbolically, that it seems a shame to leave it out. Another reason might have something to do with this color acuity test.

The lower your score the better, with zero being perfect. I scored a 3. Which makes me believe that I have a particualrly high sensitivity to color, that in turn influences the way I create my photos.

Edit: It’s available here: http://www.xrite.com/custom_page.aspx?PageID=77 if you don’t see the text linked above.
