I have followed this presidential campaign for over a year. I’ve watched the debates, I’m familiar with each of the candidate’s platforms and voting records, and I’m still undecided. I’ve got plenty of reasons to not vote for either of them, and intend to note vote for either of them, and right now my intent is to not vote for either of them. Being libertarian minded, I’m considering just voting for Bob Barr, knowing full well he’s not likely to pick up one electoral vote. Before I do that though, I’d like to give my friends and family the opportunity to convince me that I shouldn’t throw my vote away and to vote for either McCain or Obama.
So, convince me. Tell me which of the two candidates you think I should vote for, and why. I want to keep this positive, so don’t bother telling me why I shouldn’t vote for the other guy. In fact, I’d prefer you not even mention the other guy. I may ask questions for clarification, but I’ll avoid arguing any points made.
That’s it, just try to convince me whom I should vote for. I’ll follow up with a post on election day to let everyone know what I decided.
